Benidorm encourages young people to participate in the Youth Guarantee from the Youth InformationCenter
Next Wednesday, May 26, a Youth Guarantee information day will take place in Benidorm organized by the SIJ Network that coordinates the more than 3,000 youth information centers that exist in our country. The meeting will be held electronically, is open to interested young people and aims to publicize the training and work opportunities offered by the Youth Guarantee.
The Youth Information Center (CIJ), of the Youth department in Benidorm City Council has been selected by Injuve (Institute of Youth of Spain), along with 29 others from all over the national geography. "Youth Guarantee - has recalled the Councilor for Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez is a European initiative that aims to facilitate the access of young people to the job market."
Young people who do not have a job or are integrated into education or training systems can, thanks to the Youth Guarantee, “access job or training offers, including internship training”. The proposal proposes that "each young person receives an offer in a period of four months, from the inscription of it in the system", clarifies the councilor.
Jaime Jesús Pérez has clarified that once they are registered in the National Youth Guarantee System, people "are integrated into a single demand list that is made available to the entities in charge of making offers", which configures "an important role in the fight against unemployment and the professional guidance of those who need it most: youth ”.
Benidorm meeting will serve to "provide the technical staff of the CIJ with the tools and resources necessary to promote the system among the youth of our city," said Jaime Jesús Pérez, "placing our center as a benchmark in the Valencian Community in the implementation of the Youth Guarantee ”. For all these reasons, the councilor has encouraged all young people who wish to participate in this telematic meeting and to request more information at the CIJ or by sending an email to youth@benidorm.org
