The beaches and coves of Benidorm revalidate the Qualitur flag
One more year all the beaches and coves of Benidorm have revalidated the Qualitur flag that certifies their tourist excellence. The Councilor for Beaches, Mónica Gómez, has collected this badge today from the Autonomous Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, at a ceremony held in Valencia in which the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, also participated.
Gómez recalled that "Turisme Comunitat Valenciana awards this distinction to the beaches and coves that meet the parameters of environmental quality and provision of services set out in the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, to which our sandbanks also comply with the regulation of European environment EMAS”. In addition, "the accessible beach points of the Elche and Levante Park also comply with the UNE 170001 Accessibility standard."
It is, he explained, "quality parameters and very demanding certifications that value the quality and cleanliness of our waters and sand and all the services provided on our beaches that, once again, are once again a benchmark for management and excellence".
In the coming days, the Quality flags will be hoisted on the Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas beaches, and in the Ti Ximo and l'Almadrava coves.
