The businessman Antonio Manuel Puchades reviewed yesterday the history of the city's bullring in a conference organized by the Círculo Taurino at Casa del Fester entitled 'The money of the bullrings and Benidorm'. The conference was attended by, among others, the councilor of Plaza de Toros, Jesús Carrobles; members of the municipal Corporation; and the president of the Benidorm Bullfighting Circle, Alfonso López.
The businessman, son of one of the promoters of Benidorm bullring and manager of bullrings such as the one in Valencia, recounted how the construction of Benidorm bullring, inaugurated in 1962, was conceived, as well as some of the most relevant bullfighting and musical events that have taken place welcomed throughout its history.
Likewise, he toured the urban and tourist evolution of Benidorm, which the bullring has witnessed, and listed the investments that the Puchades family has made in the last six decades in Benidorm.
