The 'coaching' and job orientation activity takes place from October 6 to 8 in the City Hall's assembly hall
AEDL launches the second edition of ‘Actívate para el empleo’
The Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) has scheduled for October 6, 7 and 8 the second edition of 'Actívate para el Empleo ', a free training activity of 'coaching' and job orientation aimed at unemployed people over the age of 30 years. The councilor of the area, Mónica Gómez, has reported that “this second installment of 'Actívate para el Empleo' will take place just three weeks after the first one, which took place at the beginning of last week and that, as in all previous deliveries, had a very good acceptance. It is precisely this acceptance added to the percentages of effective employability achieved among the participants that has led us to carry out successive editions of this activity, both last year and this year ”.
The activity is taught by the economist and employment counselor Vigela Lloret, financed entirely by Obra Social La Caixa, and will take place in the Assembly Hall of the City Council from 09:30 to 13:30.
The mayor has stressed that "the objective of these workshops is that the participants strengthen their capacities and assimilate the tools that allow them to face their insertion or reincorporation into the labor market with more guarantees." To do this, throughout the sessions, which combine three group actions and personalized tutorials, the participants work on aspects such as job interviews, individual talent and value, or how to get to companies.
Gómez has stressed that "given the current economic situation, job search strategies and improving job placement are even more important as a success factor in finding a job."
People interested in registering can go to the Local Employment and Promotion Agency; send an email to Agenciadesarrollo@benidorm.org; or call 966815511.
A third edition of ‘Activate yourself for employment’ is scheduled to be scheduled before the end of the year.
