Miguel Bou, from Finisher, wins one more year
The 5th Heartbreak Benidorm Crossing brings together almost 400 Swimmers from 115 clubs in Levante
Around 400 swimmers belonging to 115 clubs participated this Sunday in the fifth edition of the Heartbreak Benidorm Crossing that has been held on Levante Beach.
The mythical 'Born in the U.S.A' by Bruce Springsteen announced at 9:00 a.m. that the recreational sports competition began with the aim of covering the little more than three kilometers of the test organized every year by the Finisher Club, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports.
Miguel Bou, from the Finisher club, for yet another year, was the first, among the men's categories, to travel the distance with a time of 41'01", reducing his time from the last edition by 1'9". In second place was Mateo Pesquero, from CN Tiro Pichón, with 42'28” M; in third, Marcos Hernández, independent, with 45'10".
Regarding the women, Joana Mico, from CN Alcoi, won first place, with a time of 48'43”; María Arnedo, from CA Montemar, second, also with 48'43”; in third, Puche Ribera, from CN Master Natural Swim Petrer, don 49'17”.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá, participated in the awards ceremony before the brotherhood meal and the subsequent farewell party for Heartbreak 2023.
