103 Primary and Secondary students, awarded for their academic performance
A total of 103 students who have completed their studies in Primary and Secondary in the city received honorable mentions and extraordinary prizes for their academic performance granted by the Department of Education yesterday afternoon, Culture and Sport during the 2021-2022 academic year
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, delivered the diplomas that accredit these recognitions in a meeting with the students and family members that took place in the Assembly Hall of the City Hall at 6:00 p.m., for Primary; at 7:00 p.m.for Secondary.
The extraordinary awards for academic performance in Primary Education by school centers went to: C.I. Lope de Vega: Silvia Diaz Berenguer. Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores: Carlos Gascón Espinosa, Héctor Galaví Giner and Songran Pan Chen. CEIP Ausiàs March: María Dolores López Tapia, Miguel Arance Uriel and Mireia Recio Duarte. CEIP El Murtal: Adrián Macavei David, Naomi Jensen Velánquez and Sofía Zaragoza Hernández. CEIP Els Tolls. Andrea Roca Hurtado, Natalia Elena Llorente and Sofía Martínez Romano. CEIP La Cala: Aida Elena Zúñiga Morales, Emily Chichas Ramírez and Rayan Younga Mohamed. CEIP Leonor Canlejas: Francisco Perona, Leonor Lyubomirova and Younes Hajjioui Chokri. CEIP Mestre Gaspar López: Andrés Madaleno Astorga, Martín Sierra Grau and Pablo Saval Llorca. CEIP Serra Gelada: Alejandro Morales Sánchez, Elisabeth Reales and Gabriela Kis Naomi. CEIP Vasco Núñez de Balboa: Álvaro García Gascón, José Luis Chuan Cid and Sofía Jiménez de Vega.
In addition, another 29 students received recognition from the educational community proposed by their schools.
At the end of the awards ceremony, Mayor Toni Pérez highlighted "the great talent of all the winners" and "the value that is given to home education."
For this reason, he encouraged them "to continue on this path" and wished for these upcoming holidays "to share everything with everyone during these holidays." Pérez said goodbye to those present, urging them to "cultivate the talent we have."
Regarding Secondary Education students, the extraordinary prize for academic performance was obtained by students Alicia María Frías González (Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores) and María Sellés Lloret (IES Bernat de Sarrià). Similarly, another 44 students were awarded locally with a special mention at the proposal of their centers for their excellent academic records.
Toni Pérez also congratulated the students for their good academic results and told them that "little by little you have more and more responsibility." A responsibility that "must be transferred to help at home because these results are the result of a culture of effort that you have received." The mayor also ended by wishing the students and their families happy holidays.
The act was enlivened by the musicians of Societat Musical L'Illa de Benidorm: Martina Buigues López (flute), María Galiana Torres (clarinet), Andrea Cano Fuste (clarinet), Vicent Antón Pérez (trumpet), Lucía Aragón Vaello (euphonium ), Pau Cardenal Calvo (percussion) and Pau Izquierdo Verdú (percussion), conducted by Josep Cano.
