More than 500 students learn about the Benidorm Dance Conservatory's course offerings

More than 500 students from different primary schools in Benidorm were able to experience firsthand the courses offered by Benidorm Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory, enjoying a demonstration class and various choreographies in Classical Dance, Spanish Dance, Contemporary Dance, and Musical Expression. These demonstrations were led by students from the school and directed by the Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory faculty, as part of the "Do You Want to Dance?" series organised by the Conservatory and the Department of Education, coinciding with the school's enrollment period.
The councilor for the department, Maite Moreno, explained that "the objective of this outreach activity is to bring dance to Benidorm schoolchildren and promote the dance courses taught at the Benidorm Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory, given the approaching deadline for admission and access to the elementary level for the 2025/26 academic year." This deadline, the councillor added, ends next Sunday, May 11.
For the unofficial Dance Initiation classes, aimed at children ages 6 and 7, and the Intermediate Level classes, for students 12 and older with prior experience, the registration period will be from June 2 to 30.
The schools that participated in this Conservatory activity were CEIP Leonor Canalejas, Gabriel Miró, Puig Campana, and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores catholic school.
