The mobile eco-park moves around neighborhoods

The mobile eco-park-clean point moves around the neighborhoods of Benidorm, from Monday to Friday, at different times and locations to bring and facilitate a service, avoiding trips to the main Eco-park that is located at Foia del Ca.
Waste can be selectively and safely deposited in the eco-park-clean point vehicle for subsequent recycling or proper management. It accepts used household and automotive oil, button and electric batteries, paint residues, neon tubes, X-rays, small household appliances and small spray cans; singular remains that have no place in recycling containers located on public roads.
The objective, highlighted by the Councilor for the Environment Mónica Gómez, is “to bring the service closer to the neighbors and to promote environmental awareness, avoiding, for minor issues, the displacement of users and neighbors to the Ecopark that is located behind Terra Mítica on the road towards Finestrat ”.
Gómez stressed that the waste delivered to the mobile eco-park "is also treated and subsequently recycled or disposed of in environmentally safe conditions, as occurs when it is deposited in the main one."
Tomorrow, Thursday, the mobile eco-park-clean point service will be in the Downtown area of ​​Benidorm, located from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Plaza del Dr. Flemming and from 12 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Avenida Jaime I, at height of the Building Marina San Pedro.
On Fridays it travels to La Cala, starting service from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Jaime I, at the height of the gas station, past Avenida de la Armada Española at the confluence with Avenida de Xixo, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. , and until 1:30 p.m. on Luís Prendes Street.
Every Monday, the mobile eco-park-clean point is located in Colonia Madrid - from 8 am to 11 am on Calle Callosa d’En Sarrià; and until 1:15 p.m. in front of the Llorca Llinares Social Center- passing on Tuesdays to Rincón de Loix -from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the confluence of Mallorca and Lepanto streets, to be located later, from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Avenida del Mediterráneo, final section, and Avenida Severo Ochoa closing activity from 12.35 p.m.- to travel every Wednesday to the Imalsa Area, with parking points in the avenues of Bélgica and Andalucía as well as at the junction of Orts Llorca with Esperanto.
These schedules have a minimal variation in winter, but not the areas and the parking points of the mobile eco-park-clean point, which are fixed, because what is intended, has insisted Councilor Mónica Gómez is to "facilitate citizens, who do not have a vehicle or time, their access to the most sustainable and efficient management of their waste ”.
