Twenty-five young people will be the “fadrines” who will organize the festivities in 2024
A mass and the appointment of the new commission put the end to Festa del Roser
The mayor congratulates Inés Mira and this year's members for keeping these celebrations alive and being “a commission of 10”
This Sunday, La Huerta neighborhood of Benidorm celebrated the last events of the traditional Festa del Roser with a high mass in Ermita de Sanz and the appointment of the new festival commission for 2024. Mayor Toni Pérez, along with several members of the Municipal Corporation accompanied the 'fadrins' who have organized this year's festivities, whom it has congratulated for “keeping such traditional celebrations alive.” Likewise, the first mayor highlighted that, despite the initial doubts of this small group of young festival-goers, led by their president, Inés Mira Vives, "today no one can say a single but about all the work you have done this year because you have been a commission of 10.”
After the celebration of this mass, in which the town herald of Festes del Roser 2023, María José Pérez Zaragoza, and numerous residents of the neighborhood also participated, Inés Mira read the names of the young women who will be in charge of organizing the festivities of next year, a group made up of 25 young people, among them the queen of 2022 Major Patron Saint Festivities, Aila Mereciano Gutiérrez, and many ladies from her court of honor.
In this way, the 'fadrines' who have been officially named today to make up the Festes del Roser 2024 Commission are Eva María García Pérez, Naiara Pérez Verdú, Aila Merenciano Gutiérrez, Anna Devesa Pérez, Ana Meta Terrats, María López Calvo, Pilar Arroyo Mateu, Carmen Martínez Pérez, Luz Sánchez Samblás Collado, Claudia Aparisi Buenestado, Carla Ortiz Olaso, Helena García Bluk, Helena Sánchez López, Laura Alarcón García, Lidia Rodríguez Saval, Marina López Martínez, Marta Antón López, Noemi Alcántara Araix, Rocío Mellado Rosado, Rosa Ruso Berenguer, Rosana Leal Pérez, Sofía Bou Romero, Teresa Martínez Linares, María Tudela Pérez, Claudia Martí Pastor.
