Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals 2019 celebrates the Christmas Party on December 24

Fiestas Department has presented this morning the traditional Christmas Party, an event to be held on Monday December 24 at Plaza de la Navidad, organized by Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals in collaboration for the third consecutive year with Penya Ganduls and with the sponsorship of Cadena 100.

The councilman Jesús Carrobles, accompanied by the vice president of the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals 2019, José Orquín, and the representative of Penya Ganduls, Pepe López, have announced the program of Christmas activities organized by the new members of the Comissió. Carrobles thanked the effort made by the Commission in the preparation of an event "consolidated in our city and that has been a great success of participation and public, as well as a significant source of income for holiday season."

The first of the activities presented was Dolços de Nadal Contest, which will be held on Sunday, December 23. On this occasion anyone who wants it and who will be able to participate with the "traditional Christmas sweets", said Orquín, who pointed out that they will be able to participate with pastries "typical, preferably from the Comunitat Valenciana, although all sweet will be equally welcome. It is important that all sweets come accompanied with their recipe and ingredients used. " The sweets will be presented from 6:00 pm in the bar of the Comissió, located in Plaza de la Navidad. At around 8:00 pm the jury will give its verdict and award the best sweets.

On the activities of Christmas Eve, Pepe Lopez has announced that from 12.00 "there will be 'xirimiters', percussionists, dj's and performances for children." The program is complemented with a careful gastronomic offer with drinks, montaditos, paellas, 'pilotes' and barbecue at popular prices. He also highlighted the new measures adopted in this edition in terms of logistics development so that the Plaza de la Navidad is not affected, given the magnificent decoration used this year. Finally Pepe Lopez, has been very pleased to return to collaborate with this event, "since all the benefits obtained" of these Christmas events "will also affect the festivities; and we, the rocks, are also part of the party.
