711 people will be summoned for the 79 electoral tables of the 28-M
A total of 711 people will be summoned to the 79 polling stations that will function in Benidorm on May 28 for the municipal and regional elections. This morning an extraordinary plenary session was held to carry out the draw for the positions of president and members of each of the polling stations. In total, nine electorate citizens are elected per table: an incumbent president and two alternates, plus two members and four alternates.
Once the draw is made, the City Council will inform the elected officials of each table.
Remember that on May 28, 43,991 voters are called to the polls in Benidorm, 42,599 nationals and 1,392 foreigners. For these elections, the city has one more polling station than in 2019, 79 in total, spread over the 46 electoral sections of 16 polling stations.
According to the figures provided by the Department of Statistics, the largest polling station has 943 voters, and 339 the fewest. As a curious fact, there is a voter who turns 18 on the same day of the elections.
