All the participating proposals garnered great applause from the attending public
The local dance academies and the Conservatory offered an exhibition yesterday as a prelude to Les Ones Festival
Yesterday afternoon, the local dance academies and the Elemental Municipal Dance Conservatory offered a contemporary dance show in the Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España as a prelude to the Les Ones festival, which will be held from June 30 to July in the streets of Benidorm.
In the exhibition, which was attended by the Councilor for Culture Jaime Jesús Pérez, accompanied by members of the local government and the municipal corporation, the schools of Daniela Arnoldo, Pilar Segura, Rosa Martínez and María José Moya participated, in addition to the Dance Conservatory of Benidorm. Each one of them staged two proposals that drew applause from the more than 200 people who gathered at the show.
Remember that the official programming of Les Ones begins on Thursday, June 30 with the performance of Aleksandra Vucheva and 'A hug without you' in Elche Park at 8:30 p.m. Half an hour later it will be the turn of 'Fugants', from the Federica Fasano Company. On Friday, July 1, dance moves to Plaça del Castell with the show 'Andrómeda', by Eduardo Ignacio Fizona and Lidia Lara, at 8:30 p.m. At 9:00 p.m., the Colectivo Simpar will represent its 'Siam Effect'.
Saturday's session will be starred by the company 'Hasta que cabe', with 'Yo-yo' at 9:00 p.m. in Plaça de Sant Jaume. Thirty minutes later, in the same place, there will be Otra Danza with 'La Banda'. Les Ones will say goodbye on Sunday from Plaça del Castell with the company of Paula Serrano and 'If you're looking for me, you'll find me' at 8:30 p.m. and 'They're not eyes because you see them, they're eyes because they look at you', by Cave Canem.
