Christmas arrives in Benidorm this December 2

Benidorm is already preparing for Christmas, which in the city will begin this Friday, December 2, when the extensive program of BeniNadal 2022-2023 will begin, designed by the Department of Fiestas and which includes children's shows, magic, dance, concerts, several nativity scenes, a Christmas market and the already usual Plaza de la Navidad, Casa de la Navidad and Campamento de los Reyes Magos.

This has been transferred today by the mayor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, who has advanced that the first appointment of BeniNadal will be tomorrow the opening of the Casa de la Navidad, which can be visited until January 6 and which will be installed, as in years previous ones, in l'Hort de Colón. Santa Claus will pass through it on the afternoons from December 17 to 22; the entire day of the 23rd and the morning of Christmas Eve.

On Saturday, December 3, the activity will begin at Plaza de la Navidad, at 6:00 p.m. with the inaugural show 'Magical Tales'. During the Christmas holidays, Plaza will host the traditional ice rink, Christmas market, and mechanical attractions, which will be combined with shows for the little ones, animation, magic and dance performances, or the presentation of the Suite CD 'Reyes Magos', written by the director of SM La Nova, Francisco José Rovira Peretó. Also in the Plaza de la Navidad, the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals will celebrate the Fiesta-Pre Buena on December 24.

On the last night of the year, the activity will move to Playa de Levante, where the Great Farewell Party of 2022 will take place; while the next day, at 7:00 p.m., in Rafael Doménech Pardo's auditorium of the cultural center, Benidorm Unión MusicalOrchestra will offer the New Year's Concert accompanied by Marlene Aquino.

In addition to the Christmas House and square, a very Christmassy atmosphere will also be breathed in Elche Park, where from December 3 to January 8 the traditional Christmas market will be installed with typical products of these dates.

Also from Saturday the 3rd until the 6th of January, it will be possible to visit the four BeniNadal nativity scenes: the monumental one at Plaza SSMM Reyes de España, which will be set up by the Marina Baixa Nativity Scene Association in the hall of the Town Hall; that of the La Barqueta Cultural and Recreational Association, which can be seen at its headquarters on Tomás Ortuño street; and that of Casa de Andalucía, located on Mercurio street.

This Christmas, in addition, the Three Wise Men will once again establish their Camp in Benidorm, which from December 28 to January 4 will be installed in the gardens located in front of the Town Hall.

Finally, "the Christmas program will live its most magical moment on the afternoon of January 5, in which their Majesties of the East will tour the streets of Benidorm in the great parade, which will start at 6:00 p.m. and will culminate in the Julio Iglesias auditorium from l'Aigüera Park.

Carrobles has invited "all citizens, both residents, and people who visit us during the Christmas season, to participate and enjoy this complete program and the different spaces that have been set up so that the little ones and adults are also impregnated with the Christmas spirit”.
