Regresa el viernes el XI Festival Internacional de Órgano de Benidorm con Enrico Tricario y Lumina Ensemble

The XI International Organ Festival of Benidorm returns to the scene this coming Friday, October 27 in the church of San Jaime with the concert starring Enrico Tricario and Lumina Ensemble starting at 8 p.m., as reported by the Department of Culture of the City Council of Benidorm. the city.

Enrico Tricario is a pianist, organist, and composer and is the organist of the Basilica Concattedrale Sant’Agata di Gallipoli, as well as a teacher at Enrico Gianelli Music-Choreutic Lyceum in Parabita. His music has been performed in numerous festivals, theaters, and concert halls by great musicians and musical ensembles.

For its part, Lumina Ensemble is the project of four saxophonists who belong to two generations who join forces to achieve, respectful and committed, high-level musical performances. The Ensemble also offers works primarily for the saxophone quartet formation in its programs but is open to other combinations.

Both Tricario and Lumina Ensemble will present an innovative program with music for the organ and saxophone quartet, based on Italian music of the late Renaissance. The program is completed with newly created music in which the organist will present pieces that he will perform and others, such as the Lumina Suite, written for the saxophone quartet formation. In short, music from the past and present is a delicate and subtle mix that seeks aesthetic balance for the audience's delight. Admission is free until the church's capacity is reached.
