Training courses in Benidorm for the local police and public officials

05 September 2017
Cursos de formación en Benidorm para policías locales y funcionarios públicos

The councils of Human Resources and Citizen Security propose a training offer in collaboration with the SEPCV

The councils of Personnel and Public Safety have presented this afternoon a training program aimed at local government workers, conducted in collaboration with the Union of Public Employees of the Region of Valencia. The Councilor for Human Resources, Jesús Carrobles, along with union delegate Manuel Villalón, have agreed on the positive of a collaboration that seeks, in the words of the mayor, that people who go to the City Hall feel "more comfortable and better treated."

"In some cases," said Carrobles, "we have our discrepancies with the unions but in others, most of us work together." The result of this collaborative attitude is the agreement between the collective of public workers and the City Council that will allow to offer three courses, two of them specifically addressed to local police and another open to the public officials.

Manuel Villalón has detailed that the two courses directed to agents of the Local Police will be one in line of 20 hours: 'Protocol of action with minors. I treat minors. Law of Minor. Consumption of narcotic drugs and other prohibited substances ". The training action will take place between September 18 and October 10 and up to 50 agents can register. The second course, attended and addressed to 30 students, is approved by the Ivaspe (Valencian Institute of Public Security), 'Course of operative foreigners' and will be held between 2 and 5 October.

Lastly, and still to materialize, between the end of November and the beginning of December, the third training action will take place, addressed to the totality of the public workers that, has advanced Villalón "will have as central axis the leadership". The union delegate thanked the collaboration and "the effort and work of Benidorm City Council" represented in the councils of Human Resources and Citizen Security to train police and public workers. "A formation," he said, "that is reflected in the action against the citizen and the quality of services."
