Belén ACR La Barqueta

Coinciding with the Day of Immaculada Concepción Virgin, the traditional nativity scene set up every year by La Barqueta Cultural and Recreational Association (ACR) opened its doors yesterday afternoon. A nativity scene that has more than 300 pieces, more than twenty of them mechanized, and that until next January 6 can be visited in the morning and afternoon at the entity's headquarters, located at number 62 Tomás street. Ortuno.

The Queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Aila Merenciano, and Chloe d'Hebboutd, were in charge of turning on the lights of the nativity scene, accompanied by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; and the president of the ACR La Barqueta, Francisco Llorens. The inauguration was also attended by, among others, members of the Corporation; the ladies of the Festes Majors Patronals; the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz; and the president of the Penyes Association, Adrián Romero.

The one of the ACR La Barqueta is one of the four nativity scenes that can be visited in Benidorm, together with the monumental one installed at Plaza de la Navidad; the one made by the Marina Baixa Nativity Scene Association, which is exhibited in the hall of the Town Hall; and that of La Casa de Andalucía, which opens this Friday afternoon.
