The Central Library starts a solidarity campaign to collect hygienic products in collaboration with Cáritas

One more year, coinciding with Christmas time, the Central Library shows its most humanitarian side by promoting a solidarity campaign, in this case by Cáritas. For Christmas 2022, the campaign will focus on the collection of hygienic products and it will run from December 12 to January 15.

The Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, has indicated that "in response to the needs detected by Cáritas, the objective of this campaign is to collect hygienic products which the entity will distribute among families in vulnerable situations."

Pellicer indicated that on "these pre-Christmas and Christmas dates many families go to the library to enjoy reading and the activities and it is also a unique opportunity for the youngest to participate in this initiative, thus promoting a value as necessary as that of solidarity”.

The councilor stressed that "every year users of the Central Library make an effort for  this collection campaign, and we are sure that they will do it once again." People interested in participating can take the products to the library.
