Toni Pérez participates in the reading of the Constitution organized by the University of Alicante
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has participated this morning in the traditional reading of the Constitution organized by the University of Alicante, at its headquarters at Ramón y Cajal, 4, and in which the entire province participates and which this year has reached the twentieth edition.
After the start by the rector Amparo Navarro of the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution, those summoned have been taking place on the reading lectern.
Toni Pérez has proceeded to read article 4 of the Constitution: The Spanish flag is made up of three horizontal stripes, red, yellow, and red, the yellow one being twice as wide as each of the red ones. The Statutes may recognize flags and banners of the Autonomous Communities. These will be used together with the Spanish flag in its public buildings and in its official acts.
Representatives of politics, the Administration, the University, the Armed Forces, businessmen, unions, and Civil society, in general, have read the constitutional articles together with EUIPO, Fundación San Rafael, Red Cross, ACCEM, Fundación Nazaret, Federation of Gypsy Associations, Junta Mayor of brotherhoods and brotherhoods of Holy Week, ONCE, MUBAG, MARQ Main Theater, Press Association, Casa Mediterráneo and Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute of Culture.
