The rowing teams of Club Náutico de Benidorm now have a new llaüt for their sports competitions, which will also be manned by the rowing team of the Self-help group for women affected by cancer Anémona.
The boat, a carbon monohull built by Amilibia Untziolak Shipyards in Aia, Guipúzcoa, is called 'Verge del Sofratge' and has been blessed by the parish priest of San Jaime, Juan Antonio González, patronized by the president of the Náutico, Jaime Samper, who has highlighted the collaboration of the Benidorm City Council represented by the spokeswoman Lourdes Caselles and the sports councillor Mariló Cebreros.
Tomorrow the new boat has, at the Club Náutico de Valencia, triple participation in a regatta with male and female crews from the Benidorm club, as well as from the Anémona team.
Of the new boat, its lightness and manoeuvrability have been highlighted, as well as its ease of turning in the turn.
The rowing teams have been congratulated for the start of the season in the Liga Suma, especially in feluccas, where they are the best in the classification.
