Professors from the Technical University of Manabí visit Benidorm to be interested in its model of tourism development
Within the framework of the Doctorate Tutelage Program, developed by agreement between the University of Alicante and the Technical University of Manabí (Ecuador), professors of economics, tourism, law and geography, have been received by technicians of the councils of Tourism and Local Development who have transferred the characteristics and experience of our city in the field of tourism and local development to academic leaders in a coastal area of the South American country that is in the process of tourism development.
"Manabí has an extension of coast similar to the one of the Valencian Community, virgin practically, with a pair of small tourist poles: Crucita and Montañita, and with a great potential from the point of view of the tourist offer, for that reason the models of Benidorm (especially) and other Valencian tourism developments are essential models for them ", as indicated by Professor of Human Geography at the University of Alicante, Gabino Ponce.
