The pianist, Aroa Blanco, closes this year's Great Recitals in Benidorm
The pianist from León, Aroa Blanco, professor at 'José Pérez Barceló' Municipal Professional Music Conservatory of Benidorm, has been in charge of closing the sixth edition of the cycle of Great Recitals organized by the Department of Culture with a concert that started at 8:00 p.m in the Assembly Hall of the City Council.
With the room practically full, the anti-Covid-19 protocol has been followed, which implies the use of the mask at all times. Among the attendees, different members of the municipal corporation, such as the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, who has been in charge of presenting the pianist and her professional career to the public.
Following the mayor's words, Aroa Blanco at the piano has performed a program composed of the 32 variations in C minor WoO 80 by Ludwig van Beethoven; Ballad No. 2 in B minor, S.171 by Franz Liszt; Sonata No. 1 in F Minor, Op.1 by Sergei Prokofiev; Argentine Dances, Op. 1, by Alberto Ginastera and El Pelele (Goyesca), by Enrique Granados.
