The City Hall has adapted the Asembly Hall as a temporary dining room after decreeing the closure of its previous location. About 200 students use this service daily

On Monday the school cafeteria in the public school Leonor Canalejas started operating after the adaptation works made by the City Council in the Auditorium of the school, which will host this service temporarily. The mayor and delegate of Education, Toni Pérez, recalled that we have had to move the room after decreeing the closure of its previous location. This transfer has taken place after a report from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) certifying that this building has structural damage. Pérez visited the school to check the result of this adjustment, and stressed that "the City Hall has complied in a timely manner with the commitment made last September 2 with the School Board and the own Ministry of Education, which was the condition of the Assembly Hall as a dining room, assuming the necessary work, and do it quickly so that the service could be provided from September 12 ". The performance of the City Council has allowed this provisional dining attend the same number of students as in its previous location and with the same two-shift system, so this move has not alleged organizational or operational problems. In total, this service is used daily by 200 students, 70% of granted.
