Nearly fifty families have enrolled their children in the 'Easter School'
About fifty families in Benidorm have enrolled their children in the 'Easter School'; a resource promoted by the Local Association of AMPA's, (School Parents' Council), with the collaboration of the Department of Education to "facilitate family and work reconciliation during the Easter school holidays", as detailed by the mayor, Toni Pérez.
The mayor, accompanied by the mayor of the department, Maite Moreno, approached the CEIP Leonor Canalejas today where from 6th April until today this 'Easter School' has been developed, which has had 46 minors from 3 to 12 years divided into two groups (Infantile and Primary) and with a wide schedule from 07:45 to 15:00.
Toni Pérez pointed out that "within the municipal resources and services aimed at promoting reconciliation and as we did last Christmas, also hand in hand with the Local Group of AMPA's and the Trokolo company, this 'School of Easter' to give families who work during Holy Week the option that their sons and daughters from 3 to 12 years old have a space in which to carry out various activities during the morning, always accompanied by professionals and with minors of their same age".
As the mayor has remarked, "The dynamics of Benidorm as a benchmark tourist destination means that certain economic sectors register their maximum peaks of activity precisely during school vacation periods, and the needs for family and work reconciliation are greater than at other times of the year." anus". That is why "it is essential to offer families resources so that they can reconcile during key periods of the year such as summer, Christmas, and Easter" and "we are going to continue working along these lines".
The price of the 'Easter School' has been 50 euros for AMPA members and 65 euros for non-members.
