The patrol boat 'Toralla' of the Spanish Navy, belonging to the Maritime Action Force, will make a stopover in Benidorm for two days, on Sunday, July 2, and Monday, July 3, as part of the permanent mission to control maritime areas of national sovereignty, which will also take you to Santa Pola, Calpe, Denia, and Alicante.

On Sunday the ship will be able to be visited by citizens in an open day that will last from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and then, at sunset, celebrate a solemn lowering of the flag. The 'Toralla' will remain docked at the Club Náutico de Benidorm.

In addition, the ship's crew will participate together with the Alicante Naval Command and other institutions in the 'Tribute to those who fell at Sea and to the Submarine Weapon' to be held on Monday in the Plaza de la Señoría, an activity organized by the City Council of Benidorm and the Frax Foundation. Then it will head back to the sea to continue with its mission.

The patrol boat is included in the Maritime Action Force whose main task is the protection of national maritime interests and the control of maritime areas of sovereignty and national interest.
