Benidorm City Council will once again assign 80 passes for passenger vehicles in the municipal public car park of l'Aigüera for the quarter that includes the months of December, January, and February. The deadline to request these passes is now operational and will remain open until next Wednesday, November 29.

This was announced by the Councilor for Mobility, Francis Muñoz, who indicated that, as on previous occasions, “subscriptions will be assigned in order of entry in the registry to those applicants who meet the required requirements until the number of subscriptions is reached. offered.”

The basis for the allocation of such parking passes indicates that all persons who request a pass will be admitted under equal conditions. In that sense, to qualify for a 24-hour pass from December 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, you need to be the owner of a passenger-type vehicle. Citizens with the Resident card will also be eligible for a subscription bonus.

The submission of applications must be made within the established period in person at the general registry of the City Council (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or using the Electronic Registry addressed to the Department of Public Space at the web address https://sede.benidorm. org/eAdmin/Sede.do

Applicants must apply for a subscription to the underground public car park l'Aigüera and indicate whether they meet the conditions for the resident bonus.

The City Council will be in charge of verifying compliance with the requirements and will establish the order of priority. It will then send the final list of requests for the issuance of subscriptions to the company that carries out the maintenance and collaborates in the management of this service.

These requests must include the identification data of the petitioner (name, surname, ID, telephone, email, and address), and the model and license plate of the vehicle. You can only request a payment for one license plate per registration and you can only park the vehicle indicated in the application. The estimate of the application will be communicated by telephone or SMS to the telephone number presented.

The stipulated price for this quarterly 24-hour pass will be 254.35 euros while the discounted price for Resident card holders will be 160.47 euros. The deadline for making payment will be five calendar days from the communication of the application estimate.

It is also clarified that contracting a subscription does not imply reserving a space, so the subscriber may park his vehicle in any available one.

It also does not give preference to enter the parking lot if other vehicles are waiting previously.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has reiterated that “we continue to advance in the mobility policy and in the effort to facilitate nearby parking” and has stressed in this regard that these are “subscriptions with economic facilities for card holders.” Resident". The mayor considered that the subscription rates “are very interesting, especially for residents in the city center” and has highlighted the improvements and innovations that have been implemented in this new phase of public parking management “as the installation of more surveillance cameras, the traffic guidance system and the location of free spaces, spaces with charging for electric vehicles, for vehicles with trailers or larger spaces aimed at family vehicles with strollers, among others.”
