AICO shows its social and solidarity side collaborating with the civic platform of support to EDUSI and with Anémona

This morning the sixth edition of the Outlet Fair has opened its doors organized by the Independent Association of Merchants of Benidorm and Province (AICO) in collaboration with the Department of Commerce. The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Commerce, Ana Pellicer; and the president of AICO, Raúl Parra; have made the first tour through the 50 stands installed at Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España, accompanied by representatives of the municipal groups and the association.

Toni Pérez has been surprised by the great influx of public that was much higher than in previous years and thanked the work done by the association, the Council and the "more than 50 exhibitors, all local, associated or not with Aico" with discounts "obliged, at least 50%" guarantee of success of the Fair.

The mayor has also emphasized the parallel program of activities aimed at neighbors and visitors. Moreover in "solidarity" of AICO with Anémona (Self-help Group of Women with Breast Cancer) and with the Support Platform to the EDUSI Project (Strategy of Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development), which have been given a space coinciding with the campaign of the International Day against Breast Cancer and the social initiative 'Edusiónate', respectively.

For his part, Raúl Parra has augured an increase in the number of visits, compared to the edition of 2016, between 20 and 30%, due to the promotion made, especially in social networks. "All the province of Alicante," he said, "has been invited to the Fair", which has generated an intense flow of people in the center of the city that will finally "visit our shops, our restaurants and that is to give value" to Benidorm Outlet, has highlighted AICO's president.

Parra, recalled that in the Outlet you can find fashion, accessories, household goods, leather goods, footwear, and more. A fair "to come as a family", he stressed. In fact it has planned complementary activities such as the toy library, inflatables or visits of cartoon characters. There is also a restaurant area. The fair will be open all weekend, its schedule is from 10.30 in the morning (11.00 on Sunday) to 22.00 in the evening (20.00 on Sunday).
