The Half Marathon aims to beat its own brands and will pay homage to the athlete who died last year

450 volunteers and professionals will ensure the safety of a test involving runners from 26 countries

When only two days to start the Benidorm 2016 Run: Half marathon (21.0975 km.), 10km Benidorm and Kid & Family Run, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has announced the safety measures that will accompany The athletes along the route in an act in which also have presented the designs of the medals.

Homage to Daniel Juárez

The organizer of the event, José Brotons, has recorded that throughout his 32 years of experience, "there has never been a sanitary display" as Run Benidorm in this and previous editions. Quiles has considered that this competition will be "leverage and power" to "improve the tourist destination." The activities of Run Benidorm will start on Saturday at 17.00 hours with the Kids & Family Run Benidorm 2016 for children with ages from 2 years. Sunday will be the time of the elders with the joint departure of the Half Marathon and 10km, at 10.00 hours, from the square of Dr. Fleming.
