The first 14 students of BENIDORM INCLUSION get their official degree

BENIDORM INCLUSION project of the Department of Employment and Local Development comes to an end. The first 14 students who have made the program of 'Sports and recreational activities in the tourism field', have received this morning their official title from the council of Employment, M. Jesús Pinto, in a closing ceremony held in the Central Library.

With this title, participants can update their curriculums in the SERVEF (Valencian Employment and Training Service) and access new job offers. M. Jesús Pinto indicated that "thanks to the realization of professional non-work practices, the employability and professional skills of all the young participants have been reinforced". Pinto showed confidence that "the group will achieve the proposed goals" in the new stage of work that embarks them in the labor market.

BENIDORM INCLUSION began on November 2, 2017 and, in addition to the sporting itinerary, there have been one of 'Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens, and gardening centers' and another of 'Auxiliary operations of continuous and under construction coatings'. In total there have been 40 participants, all of them young people between the ages of 16 and 29 (inclusive), beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System and who, just for participating, have received a grant of 400 euros per month.

One of the most important actions of this program of the Department of Employment, has been to allow the realization of practices in companies and entities of the city such Doble Amor Association, Benidorm Yacht Club, Baloncesto Benidorm Club, Hotel Magic Natura , Hotel Bali, or the water park, Aqualandia. The cost of the project involved an investment of 100,990.22 euros, 91.89% covered by the Youth Employment initiative of the European Social Fund and the rest by the City Council.
