Fiestas opens the deadline for unaffiliated clubs to submit documentation to be authorized as a festival venue

Benidorm City Council's Festivities Department has announced that the application period is now open for non-affiliated clubs to submit all necessary documentation to be authorised as a festival venue for the upcoming Festes Majors Patronals. Councillor Mariló Cebreros explained that the application for this authorisation "is essential" to comply with Decree 28/2011 of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Government), which regulates these types of venues.

This procedure, as last year, must be completed through the Electronic Office of Benidorm City Council website, in the "Services Catalogue" section. There, in the "FESTIVITIES" section, you will find the procedure "TYPE B FESTIVAL VENUE APPLICATION FORM," a section that interested parties can also access via the following link:

The Fiestas Department indicates that the application forms for a "Temporary Type B Festival Venue" can be completed electronically, automatically creating a record of this procedure by attaching all the required documentation.

The Councillor for Fiestas has indicated that the deadline for applying, accompanied by all the necessary documentation, is October 24th.

It is also recalled that to be authorised, non-affiliated clubs must be legally established, with their corresponding Tax Identification Number (CIF), and be registered in the Registry of Associations of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Government), requirements that they must prove. They must also provide a list of all their members with their corresponding ID cards, the updated Civil Liability Insurance policy and receipt, as well as a detailed sketch of the venue.

On the other hand, the Fiestas Department also reminds all associated clubs that they must complete this procedure by going to the Club Association, located in Diego Cano Enguera Centre.
