Benidorm celebrates this Saturday the Election and Coronation of the queens of 2026 Major Paron Saint Festivities
Benidorm Patron Saint Fiestas Committee will hold the Election and Coronation Gala for the 2026 Festival Queens this Saturday, January 10th. They will succeed Paula Pascual Sánchez and Aitana Pérez Gutiérrez as the city's top festival representatives. The event will take place at 11:00 AM in Benidorm Palace night club and will be broadcast live on Benidorm City Council's official YouTube channel, Onda Benidorm, via the following link: https://www.youtube.com/@OndaBenidorm/streams
The Councillor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, announced that the appointment of the city's top festival representatives will, once again, "take place in a single Election and Coronation ceremony." She also noted that this event is "one of the most anticipated and exciting" on the city's festival calendar, "where we will meet the girl and young woman who will be the queens of our main festivals next November." The representatives will be chosen from among the ten girls and twenty young women who will make up the new Children's and Adult Courts of Honour, who will also be presented to the public that same day.
For this reason, together with the Fiestas Committee, chaired by Ramón Cano, the Councillor for Fiestas invited the residents of Benidorm to "follow this vibrant event, either at the Benidorm Palace itself or through the live broadcast we will be offering on the municipal YouTube channel."
Finally, Mariló Cebreros wished the ladies participating in the draw to determine the future queens of the Patron Saint Festivities "all the luck in the world." She also took the opportunity to wish the president of the Commission, its board of directors, and all the 2026 festival organisers "that this event and all those that will follow go perfectly, and that together we can experience a great festival year."
