The appointment will be at 8:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall and there the details of the work and the alternative detours will be exhibited

The City Council will explain the neighbors on Monday the changes in traffic due to the works on Beniardá Avenue

Beniardá

On September 12, the burial works of Beniardá Avenue begin, some works that will last for ten months and that will keep the road closed to traffic for the duration of the work.

For this reason, the Benidorm City Council has scheduled a meeting with the affected residents that will take place next Monday, September 5 at 8:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Consistory in which the project management of the work and the municipal technicians will expose the details of the work to be carried out, as well as the changes in the direction of the traffic. However, from that same Monday, there will be information panels at the main points to inform about the deviations and the changes that will be carried out.

The Councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate, has specified that the meeting "is open to all citizens who are interested or want to know details of the project to bury the avenue, as well as traffic closures, alternative itineraries or the final result of the works.

González de Zárate has also advanced that in the case of completing the capacity of the Assembly Hall "all the meetings that are necessary will be held with the neighbours to reach the largest number of people and that everyone is clear about what is going to be done and with all the information at your fingertips.”

In that sense, the councillor has taken the opportunity to "invite" not only residents but "all citizens in general and those who may be affected in their displacements" to the meeting on Monday "in which they will receive all the information and will know all the details, in addition to being able to answer any questions they may have”.

Among the issues that will be addressed, both the management of the work and the technicians of the City Council will explain how and when the new entrances to Benidorm through Levante and Poniente come into operation, the traffic measures that will be implemented, the dissuasive parking lots arranged for this reason or the planned planning of the works.
