The AEDL launches a new edition of 'Get active and find your job' on September 12, 14 and 16

La AEDL pone en marcha una nueva edición de ‘Actívate y encuentra tu empleo’ los próximos 12, 14 y 16 de septiembre

The Employment and Local Promotion Agency (AEDL) has scheduled for September 12, 14 and 16 a new edition of the activity 'Improve your employability, with the name of 'Get active and find your job', a free training activity of 'coaching' and job orientation aimed at unemployed people over 30 years of age, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will take place at the Tourist Info Center, located in El Torrejó building.

The councillor for the department, Mónica Gómez, has reported that "this new instalment of 'Activate yourself for employment' will take place for the second time this year, three months after the one that took place at the beginning of June and that, as in all the previous deliveries, had a very good acceptance”. Precisely, this acceptance added to the percentages of effective employability achieved among the participants, "is what has led us to carry out successive editions of this activity, both in previous years and this year".

The councillor has stressed that "the objective of these workshops is for the participants to strengthen their skills and assimilate the tools that allow them to face their insertion or reintegration into the labour market with more guarantees." To do this, throughout the sessions, which combine group actions and personalized tutorials, the participants work on aspects such as job interviews, resources for job search, curriculum development or the labour market. A program that is subsidized by the Provincial Council of Alicante.

Gómez has stressed that "given the current economic situation, job search strategies and improving job placement are still more important as a success factor in finding a job."

Those interested in registering can go to the Employment and Local Promotion Agency; send an email to Agenciadesarrollo@benidorm.org; or call 966815511.
