The City Council creates a multi-sport track in Antonio López's stadium

The City Council has improved the sports and leisure offer in Rincón de Loix with the creation of a new multi-sport track next to the football fields Antonio López. This track has the same characteristics as the one enabled at the beginning of the year in l'Aigüera Park: 24x12 meters and a configuration that allows the practice of football and basketball.

The facilities of these camps has been visited today by the new councillor of Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, who in addition to checking how this multi-sport track he has addressed possible new actions in the area with his predecessor, the councilwoman Ana Pellicer, and the person responsible of Urban Scene, José Ramón González de Zárate.

Cabrillo explained that it is a concrete and natural stone track, with vandalism and anti-vandal baskets, and an external fence of treated wood.

Regarding new infrastructures, the three city councilors have advanced that the technicians are going to study the feasibility of installing bio-healthy devices and a petanque court in the space that is left next to the new multi-sport track.

On the other hand, Pellicer has recalled that in recent months there have been several performances Antonio López's field, included in the plan to improve sports facilities. Among these improvements is the reinforcement of security in these football fields, "mainly used by children and minors."
