On the occasion of the end of the events of the European Mobility Week in Benidorm, and the celebration of the 'Day without cars', the recently constituted BTT (all-terrain bicycle) master team of Unión Ciclista Benidorm, which is in the preseason, has presented to the City Council the competition calendar planned for next year, if the positive evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic allows it.
The councilors for Sports, Mariló Cebreros; Citizen Participation, Ana Pellicer; and Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate. The BTT of the Unión Ciclista Benidorm plans to compete, among other tests, in the Costa Blanca Bike Race, in Alicante Mountain Championship and in the Valencian Community Open, which is why they have incorporated the name of Benidorm into their new kits.
After the meeting, José Manuel López, a member of the club, pointed out that it was a great "illusion" to present the team at the Town Hall and to be able to "represent Benidorm" in a competition "as demanding" as mountain biking.
