The night, which included a special security and cleaning device, passed without incident.

After experiencing a massive 'Nit de Sant Joan' (Saint John's Night), Benidorm's beaches were ready early today to welcome the thousands of users and bathers who will be passing through the sands throughout the day. Since 3:00 a.m., beach cleaning services have been working to ensure that even before dawn, there was no trace of the 'Nit de Sant Joan' (Saint John's Night), which Benidorm residents celebrated en masse in Levante, Poniente, and Mal Pas.

A night that, once again, passed without incident and during which a special security, rescue, and cleanup operation was in operation, consisting of nearly 60 officers, including local police, personnel from the beach concessionaire, and Civil Protection.

The Councilor for Beaches, Mónica Gómez, thanked all the members of this operation for their work during the night, and made special mention of the cleaning staff who, "like every day, had the beaches in perfect condition early in the morning after an event like Sant Joan, which each year demands an extra effort and in which work starts somewhat later than usual." The Councillor also expressed her gratitude for the "civic behaviour" demonstrated by those who chose Benidorm last night to experience the shortest night of the year.
