Benidorm seeks to attract more tourists from Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Each of the participating brands has been accompanied with 4 local entrepreneurs with the aim of showing their products and close deals with participating travel agents and tour operators. In the case of Benidorm, the participating businessmen represent hotels and hotel chains such as Servigroup Hotels, Poseidon Hotels or Meliá Villaitana and Ideal Tours.

For the Belfast event, held on Wednesday at the Merchant Hotel, a total of 40 local travel agents participated thanks to the call made by the Irish airline Aer Lingus that has put a lot of interest in the realization of the event since Is a good opportunity to strengthen its air connection between Belfast and Alicante.

For the Dublin event that takes place this afternoon, it is expected that some 40 travel agents and 6 media outlets will participate, generating a greater impact of the event as some media will echo this. In this case, the call has been made by the Spanish Tourism Office in Dublin.

Undoubtedly, with both events is intended to continue positioning Benidorm in two important issuing destinations. The benefits of its climate, its extensive gastronomy and the quality of its beaches are making the city an ideal destination for Irish tourists, with 15 weekly flights from Dublin and 5 from Belfast to Alicante-Elche airport in 2017 Through Ryanair, AerLingus, easyJet and Jet2 Holidays.
