04 September 2017
Benidorm reafirma la seua aposta pel turisme esportiu

Benidorm has participated during this weekend in the Eurobike 2017, the biggest and oldest cycling fair in Europe that as every year takes place in the Alpine city of Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Visit Benidorm has an AVT stand and under the umbrella brand Turespaña, thanks to which it has been able to show not only the German, but also the Italian, Swiss and Austrian public, the offer associated with both bicycle touring and cycling in general (e-bike, mtb, professional equipment etc.) highlighting mainly the routes associated with natural environment that surround Benidorm and that anyone who visits the city can start.

Given the nature of the German market, they show great interest in aspects such as security, gastronomy, nature, culture, and accommodation and specialized companies, something for what Benidorm can show off.

In the same way, contacts have been initiated for future actions with influencers in both cycling and outdoor sports (trail running, hiking, Nordic walking, etc.). and has taken the opportunity to explain the work that is being developed both in this field and in others (golf, lgbtq, health) to the technicians of the Spanish Tourism Office in Munich with the intention of taking into account Benidorm for future travels of familiarization and specialized press.

Benidorm says goodbye to this event, which has also been the latest edition, which has seen a rise in destinations and public with more than 71,000 visitors, consolidating its commitment to the German market and influence.
