Benidorm promociona la XXXI edición del Curso Internacional de Música

The Department of Culture has launched a promotional video of the thirty-first edition of the International Music Course and the twenty-first of the Music Contest organized by Benidorm City Council in collaboration with the Professional Conservatory of Music 'José Pérez Barceló' .

With the publication of this video clip, it is intended to promote and make known to students of higher education, and lovers of music in general a program that brings together professionals and interpreters of international prestige, already converted into an attraction more than the commitment to quality tourism offered by the city. This year's call will take place from July 1 to 5.

The Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, announced today that the Music Course will feature "four instrumental specialties and one non-instrumental: cello, piano, trumpet, saxophone and composition", taught by professors Michal Dmochowski, Angel Sanzo, Adán Delgado, Jean Denis Michat and Ricardo Llorca, all of them "with numerous awards and recognitions in national and international competitions".

Ana Pellicer has indicated that the students enrolled in the Course will be able to participate in the Music Contest, "dedicated this year to the specialty of cello", to choose the prizes that the collaborating companies sponsor: Stomvi, Consolat de Mar, Editorial Piles, Custom Pro, and Prince Park Hotel; "And also to Benidorm City Council Special Prize, which consists of the inaugural concert of the XXXII Course that will take place in 2020."

Places to participate in the International Music Course are limited. The selection criteria will be given by the professional level and / or studies, as well as the order of arrival of the application. Candidates can enroll in the active or listener modalities. Registration forms can be downloaded from https://www.cursomusicabenidorm.org/ The deadline to register will be the next 30 of April.
