Adrián Marmolejo Clarhed, in painting modality with his work 'Vertical Societes XLa', and Denislav Delchev, in sculpture with 'Asilo II Frente al Siglo XXI', have been the winners of the 35th Young Creators Contest, organized by the Department of Youth led by councillor Ana Soliveres. At noon today, the jury's decision was announced in the Espai d'Art of the City Hall where the participating works have been exhibited for three weeks.

Both winners have received a prize of 1,000 euros; while the work 'Larabia' by Lucía Molina García has been recognized as the best work created by an author under 18 years of age and rewarded with 100 euros.

The Youth Councilor highlighted the reception of this 35th edition of the contest, which has reached “very good levels of participation that we hope will be maintained or surpassed in future editions.” In that sense, the contest featured 29 paintings and 13 sculptures, “which represents a significant increase in the number of sculptures, since in the last edition there were only four,” said Soliveres. 27 artists (13 men and 14 women) from different areas of the national territory participated in the contest.

Ana Soliveres recalled that the purpose of this contest is to “promote the art and talent of budding artists or those who have already begun to take their first steps”, encourage them “to make their work known” and make it easier for the public to “interact”. with innovative proposals made by the authors of the present and, above all, of the future.”

The councillor has reiterated that her department "will continue working to support and encourage the creativity of our young people" and has highlighted that with this type of initiative "we all win" because "the artists have a place to exhibit their work and creations and we as the City Council “We increase our artistic heritage.”
It should be noted that on this occasion a special mention has also been granted to the artist Naomi Anzovino for her constant participation and her artistic evolution.
