 Wifi Zones in Benidorm

We have a network of wifi gratis along the entire promenade of Levante and Poniente Beaches and in the Castle. It will be accessible in public spaces, so that tourists can connect to the internet and make it easier for travellers to become prescribers of a tourist destination, posting photos and videos of their trips on social networks.

When users connect on the street to the free Wi-Fi network offered by VisitBenidorm, it is important to remember that the data is private (telephone number, email), cannot be used by third parties and is always kept secret.

During your stay in Benidorm, you can enjoy various areas with free Wi-Fi, including BiblioPlayas, the Plaza de Canalejas Tourist Office, and the entire extension of Levante Beach, Poniente Beach and the Castle area. The network has 30 different access points and is in many cases sponsored by different campaigns

ACCESSIBLE BEACHES (BENIDORM FOR EVERYONE)

Accessible Beach Spots:

An accessible beach point is considered to be a space that, through appropriate urban infrastructure such as accessible public transport, parking reserved for people with reduced mobility, and elements such as ramps, changing rooms, shaded areas, etc. and the necessary human resources, allows people with disabilities to access both the sandy beach areas and the water.
The beaches of Benidorm have three accessible beach spots:

1. 1. Levante Beach, C/Murcia,

Surface: 218m2

Year: 2000

Year: 2001

3. Poniente Beach, Parque Elche,

Surface: 150 m2

Whenever a bather uses the bathing chair at the accessible beach point, a person from the organization will accompany him or her.

People with a major disability must be accompanied by an adult, since lifeguards will not be able to buy or administer drinks or food, apply suntan lotion, etc.

Adapted services are for the exclusive use of disabled people and the organization.

Family members and companions can share the shaded area with the user, as long as they do not prevent the users of the point from having the necessary space and do not hinder the work of the support staff.

The number of baths and their duration will depend on the number of people waiting and the availability of the staff providing the service.

Disabled people who, using the amphibious chair to enter and exit the water, wish to abandon it and swim autonomously will sign a commitment assuming their responsibility and exempting the City Council and the company awarded the management of the service from the possible consequences.

PURPOSE

Our objective is to achieve user satisfaction, through total compliance with their expectations, through the application of the most advanced resources and the collaboration of an excellent staff of motivated professionals. We work towards continuous improvement and for this reason, we monitor the facilities and user service. That is why our work is loaded with empathy so that the communication is completely personalized and the user feels satisfied with the service we provide.

RELATIONSHIP WITH USERS
•The attitude of the staff must be to make easier the tasks for users.

Support staff will transfer the user to the amphibious chair, remain in the water with them, and return them to the individual chair.

At all times the monitors will maintain respectful treatment of users.

A suggestion box is made available to the user.

The support staff will be informed of the day and time, as well as the number of people who will attend the point as a group. The company will reinforce staff if necessary.

All staff know the responsibilities and functions of each job.

We will work as a team to improve the quality of the service provided.

Measure the expectations and degree of satisfaction of users of the services offered through a survey, to know their opinion to develop current and future services.

GROUPS AND COLLECTIVES

To provide the best possible service to all users, it would be advisable for groups that want to use our facilities to ask before so that none of the 3 spots is saturated, and if necessary, they will be reinforced with more support personnel.

App MAPS VOICE

The tourist experience can be satisfactorily lived with problems of low vision or blindness, thanks to the technological advances that mobile phones and applications such as MAPS VOICE have brought about, which have been created to improve accessibility through voice interpretation of the plans. Benidorm is one of the pioneer municipalities that have implemented it within their accessible tourist information offer.

POINTS OF HERITAGE INTEREST IN AN ACCESSIBLE INTERPRETATIVE PANEL

Benidorm has located the main points of historical and natural interest on a fully accessible interpretive panel, installed on Paseo de Poniente, at the height of Les Fontanelles spring, one of the heritage assets included in the panel.
In this panel, six heritage icons of Benidorm have been introduced from a natural, historical and cultural point of view, such as our Tossal de La Cala, the island, the Castell, Les Fontanelles spring, Serra Gelada and Torre de Les Caletes.
Written in braille, it is the first to be implemented in different places in the city
