Youth programs Gaming Benidorm Fest, two days of video games on August 21 and 22

The Youth Council has scheduled Gaming Benidorm Fest for the next 21 and 22 August, “a free event of video consoles and video games aimed at participants of different ages and that will take place at SSMM Reyes de España square uninterruptedly from the 8:00 pm to midnight ”, according to the councillor of the area, Jaime Jesús Pérez.
The head of Youth has stressed that "this Gaming Benidorm Fest is part of the activities that we promote from the Department to offer leisure alternatives for our young people, in this case, and as usual in recent years, throughout the world of videogames ”.
As detailed, "10 full positions will be available, seven for PS4 PRO and three for XBOX" in which participants will be able to compete in games such as FIFA, Brawl Stars, Fortnite, Just Dance, Chash Royale, Lips, Forza 4 or Call of Duty, among others ”. In addition to these positions, there will also be VR glasses, driving simulator and Game Pass Ultimate.
Apart from the prizes for the winners of each competition, there will also be raffles between the participants, who will also be able to enjoy the conference 'Content creators, learn with the best'.
Pérez stressed that "when programming this Gaming Benidorm Fest, all the hygienic-sanitary measures and protocols have been observed". Thus, for example, "between each game, the stalls and all the technical means used will be disinfected, while ensuring the safety distance between participants at all times", having a team of monitors who will control and will organize the event.
