Youth organizes an educational free-time activity monitor course
The Youth Department of Benidorm City Council is going to carry out a 215-hour educational free-time activity monitor course for children and youth. The course is organized through the Alicante Chamber of Commerce.
The activity is free, will take place from February to April and will be divided into modules. The first of them, from February 14 to March 1, will be taught from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The following modules, second, third and fourth, will take place from March 4 to April 19, also from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be no class on March 18, 19, 28 and 29 and April 1.
The course is aimed at young people between 18 and 29 years old and the only requirement is to be enrolled in Youth Guarantee. Its contents include 'social skills and employability', 'Education activities in children's and youth's free time', 'Group and educational processes' and 'Animation techniques and resources'.
At the end of the course, a valid diploma is delivered to work as a professional as it is certified by the Valencian Youth Institute. Likewise, training in social skills and employability will be acquired to improve incorporation into the labour market.
