Youth organizes a ‘Beyblade’ tournament and presents the novelties in children's and youth literature
The Youth department will present the latest news in children's and youth literature and will organize a ‘Beyblade’ tournament on November 27. This has been announced this morning by the area councilor, Jaime Jesús Pérez, at the presentation of the Espai Jove program for the month of November, which takes place at the Youth Information Center (CIJ) of Benidorm City Council.
Jaime Jesús Pérez recalled that Espai Jove is "a meeting place" for young people in Benidorm where they can "do their homework or prepare their exams with the help of specialized monitors." A service of the Department where you can share experiences with friends. Among the activities scheduled this month will continue the cinema forum, workshops, board games, role-playing and video, and languages (German and English). In addition, the playroom and the classic games of chess or checkers will remain open.
Jaime Jesús Pérez recalled that all activities are carried out following the strictest safety regulations imposed by the health authorities "starting - he added - with the use of masks and hydroalcoholic gel".
In the November program of Espai Jove, for the first time, on Thursday 26th, the latest editorial novelties in children's and young people's literature will be presented. And, on Friday the 27th, a ‘Beyblade’ tournament will take place, in which “the most skilled players with these tops inspired by the manga cartoon series of the same name, will be able to show their skills”.
The Beyblades are the evolution of the classic wooden tops “with which we have all played”. They are made of plastic and metal, made up of removable parts that can turn right or left -depending on the model-. The tops face each other on a stage in a game of strategy and strength in which the winner is the one who can last the longest while rolling without leaving the combat scene or whoever dismounts the opponent with an ‘explosive ending’.
