Youth announces the XXXV Contest of New Creators in the modalities of painting and sculpture

The Youth Department of Benidorm City Council has already convened the XXXV edition of the New Creators Contest in the modalities of painting and sculpture, for which the bases of the same have already been published. A contest that, as usual, is open to the participation of young people between the ages of 14 and 35 who wish to do so.

As in previous editions, the works in the competition must be original and unpublished with free technique, dimensions, and theme. Of course, in the case of paintings, they must be presented ready to be hung in the exhibition. Both the paintings and the sculptures must be accompanied by the name and surname of the author, ID, age, address, telephone number, and title of the work. Each contestant may contribute a maximum of two works.

The exhibition will take place at Espai d'Art in the Town Hall from February 5 to March 1, 2024, and the works will have to be presented at the Department of Youth. The bases establish that a single prize of 1,000 euros will be awarded for each modality and the winning works will become the property of the City Council. There will also be a special prize of 100 euros for the best painting or sculpture made by a person under 18 years of age.

A jury appointed by the Youth Department will be in charge of issuing its ruling, which will be final, on March 1, 2024, at 12:30 p.m.
