Benidorm beaches, the "best leisure offer"

The first leisure facilities are already installed on the beaches of Benidorm after the award last week by the City Council of the contracts for the management of activities on the beaches, at the gates of the high season, which will allow users to be offered a complete leisure offer and fun.

The beach already has a floating operating platform in front of Levante 'Biblioplaya', while the operators of the concessionaire company located, further on, the elements of a second play area at the height of Bilbao Street.

The Councilor for Beaches, Mónica Gómez, indicated today that it is expected that "everything will be operational at the beginning of July". As soon as the bathing channels are delimited for the use of pedal boats and the concessionaires finalize the installation work.

Gómez emphasized that "thanks to these services", the beaches of Benidorm have "the best leisure offer" which increases "the enjoyment and satisfaction" of the thousands of people who visit us every year.

It should be remembered that the City Council will receive around half a million euros a year from the companies that operate the attractions. In exchange, users will be able to enjoy pedal boats, jet skis, floating games, rent boats, or burn adrenaline with activities such as 'parasailing', a parachute flight dragged by a motor boat; the 'flyfish', a group ride on a fish-shaped inflatable; or the traditional aquatic banana.

The beaches of Benidorm will have seven points to rent pedal boats, kayaks, and paddle surfing (four in Levante and three in Poniente) with a maximum of ten pedal boats in each one. There will be a rental point for jet skis, and others for the parachute, 'flyfish' and banana. For its part, the historic Clabe Sky will continue to provide service in Levante, next to Rincón de Loix, to which must be added the rental of boats of less than 15 meters in length or floating play platforms in both Levante and Poniente.
