The deadline for the reception of projects ends on June 29
The XIV Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition enters its final stretch
The 14th edition of the Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition, which annually organizes the Department of Employment in collaboration with different entities and institutions, has entered its final stage. Thus, the deadline for submission and receipt of projects ends on June 29, as recalled by the councilor of the area, Mª Jesús Pinto.
Pinto indicated that this contest is considered "as an impulse for the creation of companies and the promotion of self-employment of entrepreneurs" of the city "with a viable business idea and generating employment".
The prizes that will obtain the best enterprising ideas are: € 2,500 and an iPad for the winner or winner of the first prize, and € 1,500 and a Mini iPad for the second. In addition, two second prizes are awarded, with € 500 each, which will reward the projects that highlight the aspects of Benidorm Tourism Promotion and Social Responsibility.
The contest has the collaboration of various institutions, both public and private. In particular, La Obra Social "La Caixa" collaborates with a financial contribution for the final prizes; the Valencian Institute of Tourist Technologies (INVATTUR), which provides as a prize the possibility of joining the Business Incubator that has its headquarters in the same building of this Institute located in Benidorm; the JOVEMPA Marina Baixa business association, which will grant the person responsible for the winning idea of the contest one year of free membership; as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of the Marina Baixa (MEMBA) that also grants the project that wins the contest a year of free membership in this association of women entrepreneurs; and the European Center for Innovative Enterprises (CEEI) of Elche, an entity with which the AEDL maintains collaborations in various fields.
