The XIII International Organ Festival brings the prestigious Luciano Zecca to Benidorm this Friday

The XIII Benidorm International Organ Festival resumes its activity this Friday, February 28, with a new first-class concert, which in this case will be performed by the prestigious organist Luciano Zecca. The Councillor for Culture of the Benidorm City Council, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has highlighted that “like every last Friday of the month, we once again have an appointment with this consolidated festival, which takes place in the church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, taking advantage of the fantastic organ that this church has, a unique instrument that stands out throughout the Valencian Community for its sound characteristics and possibilities of interpretation”.
The councillor has stated that, as with the vast majority of activities organised by the Department of Culture, “entry to enjoy this concert is free and open to the public until full capacity is reached” and has invited Benidorm residents and visitors to “participate in this and other concerts of this magnificent International Organ Festival”, which will continue throughout the year.
Luciano Zecca completed his musical studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, graduating in Principal Composition with Giuseppe Giuliano and in Organ and Organ Composition with Luigi Benedetti. He completed his musical education with piano diplomas at the Brescia Conservatory under the direction of Anita Porrini and followed master classes with renowned teachers of organ and chamber music.

He has performed in prestigious venues around the world, such as the Milan Cathedral in Italy; St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York or Washington; as well as in the cathedrals of Malaga, Madrid and Lleida in Spain. He has also given concerts in different venues in England, Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland and Japan. In addition, his concert presented on the YouTube channel in his name has surpassed three million views.
