The winning monument of Benidorm will receive a prize of 1000 euros from the Generalitat

The first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer and the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, received this morning from the hands of the territorial director of Presidency of the Generalitat in Alicante, Esteban Vallejo, the standard with which the best falla (monument) of Benidorm will be awarded. The event was also attended by the President of the Local Board Fallera, Daniel Masip.

The Generalitat will award for the first time this year prizes to monuments that are winners in all municipalities of the Region of Valencia in which monuments, fallas, are planted. Benidorm is in the intermediate category, among the cities with more than 20,000 inhabitants, so the winning monument will receive an accredited pennant and an additional bonus of 1,000 euros.
