Visit Benidorm Foundation will intensify the promotional activities in the last four months of the year, with attendance at 11 fairs and the organization of more than 20 promotional actions.
Visit Benidorm reaffirms its commitment to the diversification of the issuing markets since the shares will be carried out in already consolidated markets such as the United Kingdom or Spain, but will also focus on emerging markets such as Poland, Austria or Ukraine among others.
The promotion of specific products and segments is another of the points on which Benidorm will focus its promotion in this last quarter of the year, carrying out specific actions to publicize Golf, Running, Diving or Film Office products and to attract new segments such as the MICE client or the LGBT public.
Participation in 11 tourism fairs
Benidorm will participate during the last four months of 2018 in a total of 11 fairs and tourist events, of which 4 will be national and another 7 will be international.
Among the fairs we find several specific products, such as the Expotural Fair of Outdoor Sports in Madrid, the Diving Fair in Birmingham, Porto and Valencia, or the film productions in London and other specific segments such as the IBTM of Barcelona, focused on MICE public and the 50+ of Utrecht, aimed at senior public.
As news, it is worth noting that the Valencian Community will have its own stand for the first time in the WTM in London and the IBTM in Barcelona, assuming this a great opportunity for destinations such as Benidorm that will attend both events accompanied by several local businessmen who will have a greater visibility in the fairs, seeing increased business opportunities.
More than 20 promotional actions
Benidorm will carry out more than 20 promotional actions during the last quarter of 2018, among which we can find, in addition to the presence at the different fairs and contests, other promotional actions with great repercussion such as Blogtrips, Presstrips, Famtrips and participation in Workshops.
In terms of press trips, Benidorm is betting one more year for this type of action, in which several journalists are invited to the city in order to know first hand their virtues and can translate them later in their press traditional. The pending presstrips will cover segments such as the LGBT public, products such as Diving and markets such as the United Kingdom, Ukraine or Austria among others.
Regarding the Blogtrips, Visit Benidorm has organized two trips of bloggers and influerncers in order to give an impact in Social Networks to Benidorm's sports offer in winter and to the most cosmopolitan offer in the city. The issuing markets will be covered between the two actions; France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal and Holland
Finally, during the rest of the year, Benidorm will receive a group of Indian travel agents, in a Famtrip organized by the Spanish Tourism Office in Bombay in collaboration with Turisme de la Comunitat Valenciana and, on the other hand, it will participate in two international wokrhops, one aimed at the MICE public in London and Birmingham and another whose aim is to capture the database of influencers to be developed in Copenhagen.
