The 18 participating restaurants offer menus for 20 euros
A total of 18 establishments participate in the 6th Days of the Rice, the culinary event with which Benidorm Gastronómico 2017 close this year. The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the secretary of the Association of Restaurants, Bars and Cafes (Abreca), María Amor González, today have presented this event that will allow diners access to the best rice dishes in Benidorm with menus of 20 euros.
The mayor has insisted on the potential of the gastronomic activity, "that every day occupies a more important role within the tourist offer of the city". In this regard, he recalled that in the last two years the events of Benidorm Gastronómico have been scheduled at a time when the city "is far from the time of maximum tourist activity."
Pérez has invited residents and visitors to participate in these VI Rice Days from Saturday 21 to Sunday to 29, and has agreed with the head of Abreca that the dishes and recipes of this culinary show "are the best that can represent us as a people. "
The secretariat of the restaurateurs of Benidorm has indicated that "besides being a compendium of our traditions, culture and economy, these Days of the Rice are one of the favorite events of the diners".
The participating restaurants are: Arrocería La Marina, Belvedere, Bolikki Longe Restaurant, Club Naùtic, Condal, El Barranco, Mensón-Cervecería Cruz Blanca, Sturgeon, Mediterranean Garden, Old Sidrería Aurrerá, La Bodeguita de Salva, La Cava Aragonesa, Mal Pas, Marisquería El Puerto, Posada del Mar, Son de Mar and Venta l'Almartxa,
